Batter up!

The MLB All-Star Game is taking place Tuesday, July 11 at the Seattle Mariners’ T. Mobile Park. Based on how wild the 2023 season has been — the Rays’ success and A’s failure have us on the edge of our seats — we have a good feeling it’s going to be a grand slam of a good time.

This year’s marks the 93rd contest between the American and National Leagues. We’re expecting stars Mike Trout, Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, Ronald Acuña Jr. and hometown favorite Julio Rodriguez to flex their skills in the Emerald City all weekend long.

Best of all, you can be there to witness the magic IRL. Last-minute tickets are still available to catch all of the game’s most elite players on one diamond. It won’t be cheap, though.

At the time of publication, the lowest price our team found on tickets was $308 before fees on Vivid Seats. If you want to get close to the action, you may have to dig a bit deeper into your pockets. Lower level seats start at $449 before fees.

Eager to attend? Here’s everything you need to know and more about the 2023 All=Star Game at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park.

When and where is the 2023 MLB All-Star Game?

This year’s All-Star Game takes place at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park from Friday, July 7 through Tuesday, July 11. This will be the first time the M’s have hosted since their historic 116-win in the 2001 season.

All-Star week schedule

All-Star weekend kicks off Friday, July 7 with the HBCU Swingman Classic, where baseball student-athletes from Division I programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) will showcase their talent.

From Saturday, July 8 through Tuesday, July 11, fans will be treated to the Capital One Play Ball Park, which essentially doubles as this year’s fan fest. Other festivities for the jam-packed Saturday include the Sirius XM All-Star Futures Game, featuring baseball’s up-and-coming stars. The day concludes with the star-studded All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.

Come Sunday, the MLB will mix things up with the highly-anticipated MLB Draft in Seattle. Expect some of the biggest draftees to show face. On Monday, July 10, the excitement continues with the Home Run Derby.

And of course, the ASG itself will take place on Tuesday, July 11.

Full-strip tickets for all events can be found right here.

About the MLB All-Star Game

The All-Star Game brings together standout players from both leagues to compete against each other every second Tuesday in July. Starting fielders are chosen by fans, pitchers by managers, and reserves by a combination of players and managers.

The American League will be led by reigning World Series champ Houston Astros‘ manager Dusty Baker. In the away dugout, the National League squad has penciled in Philadelphia Phillies skipper Rob Thompson to helm the club.

The event marks the approximate halfway point in the MLB season. The Midsummer Classic used to determine who was granted home field advantage for the World Series in the fall, but that policy was abandoned in 2017.

MLB All-Star Game Predictions

The official lineup has not been announced yet, but baseball fans are placing their bets.

According to the popular vote so far, top prospects for the National League include Sean Murphy (Braves), Freddie Freeman (Dodgers), Ronald Acuña Jr. (Braves), Luis Arraez (Marlins) and Orlando Arcia (Braves).

This year’s potential American Leaguers likely to start are Adley Rutschman (Orioles), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Blue Jays), Marcus Semien (Rangers), Shohei Ohtani (Angels) and Aaron Judge (Yankees).

MLB All-star voting is open through June 29 and takes place in two phases. During Phase 1 (ends on June 22), you can vote up to five times every 24 hours for which players you want to see start at each position. In Phase 2, you can vote for the top two in each position to pick the starting player.

You can place your votes on MLB.com, the MLB’s mobile app or at any of the 30 MLB stadiums.

The full 23-player rosters for both leagues will be announced on July 2.
