Have you ever wondered how rich Insane Clown Posse are? According to sources it has been estimated that Insane Clown Posse’s overall net worth is $30 million. The group has accumulated its wealth by releasing numerous successful and well-sold albums during the years of their existence, which has added significantly to their net worth. Since they are still active in the music industry, their net worth continues to grow.
Insane Clown Posse Net Worth $30 Million
The Insane Clown Posse were formed after the initial rap quartet called “Inner City Posse” broke apart, and two members, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope replaced the initial performers. The group’s new sound was introduced by their debut album “Carnival of Carnage” (1992), which consisted of hard rock elements mixed with beats and rhymes. Although the duo’s albums and popularity expanded surprisingly quickly, their essential features were and still are their fascinating performances which consist of pyrotechnics and tossing of soda all over the audience.
Their second album, “The Ringmaster” sold well and eventually went gold leading the band to singing with “Jive Records” for 1995’s “The Riddle Box”. A growing fan base and gold album behind them catapulted the band to Hollywood Records where they recorded their 1997 “The Great Milenko” album. It was thanks to this album that the band gained a place in the spotlight. Although “Hollywood” pulled the albums off the store shelves because of the lyrical content, the album gained even bigger popularity as this controversy attracted an even bigger number of the metal audience. By the time ICP released “The Amazing Jeckel Brothers” it debuted at number four on the Top 200 and started merchandising like never before. The band members starred in the movie “Big Money Hustlas”, appeared in comic books, video games and even had part time careers as professional wrestlers. Of course this built their net worth considerably.
In August 2004, the band released “Hell’s Pit” in two separate editions, and a year later ICP’s new direction for mythology was revealed with the release of “Calm”. Their 2007 album “The Tempest” reached number 20 on the top 200, and two years later they released their “Bang! Pow! Boom!” album. In 2011, their sound was refreshed by the duo’s collaboration with other artists.
Although still active, ICP have changed their profile a little and reverted to recording indie labels and touring in a less extravagant way. Some of the band’s latest activity includes their two albums from 2015 “The Marvelous Missing Link (Lost)” and “The Marvelous Missing Link (Found)”, released later that year.
ICP have now released 14 studio albums and their songs have mainly been centered on themes related to mythology of the Dark Carnival in which the lives of the dead are judged.
Apart from their musical career, the ICP members formed their own professional wrestling federation called “Juggalo Championship Wrestling”, having wrestled in WWF, WCW and TNA before that. The band even sued the FBI for listing the juggalos as a loosely organized hybrid gang.
