Brynn Whitfield is reportedly facing a tax debt that totals $30,000, and she once was allegedly almost evicted from her place of residence in the Big Apple.
The star is one of six all-new castmates on Real Housewives of New York City, following the network’s decision to let go of the entire cast from the previous season – which suffered in ratings.
According to certain records obtained by The U.S. Sun, Brynn is facing a $30K tax debt, and at one point, sh was almost evicted from her apartment in NYC.
A county clerk in Los Angeles confirmed to the outlet that Brynn has a federal tax lien and a state tax lien for California.
The records claim California filed the tax lien against her in 2021, concerning a $11,359 amount, and the IRS filed a $16,487 tax lien in 2019.
Many fans are shocked to hear of the tax debt, considering the wealthy nature of the Housewives franchise. In a cast photo, the 36-year-old wore an extravagant shirt that seemed to be made of pearls.
Per Daily Mail, the star’s reported net worth is estimated at $3 million. Brynn is a communications and brand marketing professional.
Last fall, Brynn and her castmates were introduced by Andy Cohen at BravoCon. “I am so excited to introduce all of you to Ubah, Erin, Jessel, Brynn, Sai, and Jenna,” he said.
The host then addressed the cast directly: “It is so wonderful to see you … this is a group of friends, I know you live in the West Village, Tribeca, Brooklyn, Soho, the Upper East Side, all over town.”
The Real Housewives of New York City season 14 airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
